# Installing

Novita Sandbox provides official SDKs for multiple programming languages, along with a CLI for performing sandbox operations from the terminal.

Currently supported:

* Python
* JavaScript & TypeScript
* CLI

You can install the Novita SDK for application code and the CLI for terminal-based sandbox operations.

## Install SDK

You can install the Novita SDK by executing the following commands.

> **Prerequisites:**
>
> * JS: Node.js 20+
> * Python: Python 3.9+

```js JavaScript & TypeScript icon="js" theme={"system"}
npm i novita-sandbox
```

```python Python icon="python" theme={"system"}
pip install novita-sandbox
```

## Install CLI

The Novita Sandbox CLI helps you manage sandboxes, run commands, build templates, and perform common development tasks directly from the terminal.

```bash CLI icon="terminal" theme={"system"}
npm i -g novita-sandbox-cli
```

## Install Agent Skills

If your agent supports skills, install the Novita Sandbox skill with the following command:

```bash theme={"system"}
npx skills add novitalabs/novita-skills --skill novita-sandbox-skills
```
