# LobeChat

This guide will walk you through integrating Novita AI’s LLMs with the LobeChat platform, enabling you to deploy AI applications with advanced capabilities like multimodal interaction, context-aware reasoning, and extensible plugins.

## **What Is LobeChat?**

LobeChat is an open-source, modern UI/Framework designed for ChatGPT and other LLMs. It simplifies the development of AI chat applications by supporting speech synthesis, multi-modal inputs, and an extensible plugin ecosystem. With LobeChat, you can deploy your private chat application using models like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Novita AI’s LLMs in just one click.

## **Prerequisites**

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

* **Novita AI LLM API Key**:
  * Visit [Novita AI’s website](https://novita.ai/) and create an account.
  * After logging in, go to the [**Key Management**](https://novita.ai/settings/key-management) page to generate your **API Key**. This key is required to connect Novita AI’s models to LobeChat.

## **Integration Steps**

### **Step 1: Connect Novita AI to LobeChat**

To connect Novita AI’s models with LobeChat:

* Log in to your **LobeChat account** and access the [**Settings**](https://lobechat.com/settings/common).
* Navigate to the **AI Service Provider** tab.
* Scroll down to find the **Novita AI** section and expand it.
* Paste your **Novita AI API Key** into the provided field and click **Save**.

### **Step 2:** Select a Novita AI Model

Once the API Key is configured, you can select a Novita AI LLM model to power your AI application:
